Before the match no one could think such an outstanding performance from the Black Caps. Everyone was thinking that it will be impossible for New Zealand to beat India in India. But they proved that in the form of their lives. They beat India at their strength which is chasing on such a low total that one could hardly believe.
After winning the toss the captain of New Zealand elected to bat first and put a low target on the score board which was 127. After restricting New Zealand to such low total, India would consider themselves fancy at half way stage. Though Guptill smashed Ashwin for huge six on the first ball of the t20 world cup 2016. But later on India came back strongly and didn't let New Zealanders to score freely. But somehow the Black Caps managed to score over run a ball and gave India to chase a modest total of 127 runs
In reply the pressure of such a big event of icc t20 world cup could not handle by Dhoni XI. They lost S.DAHWAN in the first over. In the 3rd over Santner took two wickets and put break on Indian innings.
No Indian has clue to New Zealand bowling attack. Wickets were tumbling all around the park.and India only managed to score 79 runs.
